Something For Albert

The gravity

of space

The gravity

of time

Forging

perspectives

Relative

in kind

Newtonian

 dogma

At sixteen

he knew

By curving

the axis

It changes

— the view

The Unboxing

Complexity wrapped

in simpler terms

Untying its ribbon

 — freeing the words

The Politics Of Religion

The arrogance

of conscription

the blasphemy

of denial

Abraham

shouting high above

to dam

the bloody Nile

We speak with words

deceptive

to try and steal

the peace

As blasphemy

that self destructs

in arrogance

— repeats

Darkness Waits

She whispers in the night

to waiting dreamers

She whispers in the night

where tears have shed

She whispers in the night

to hearts abandoned

She whispers in the night

— and wakes the dead

Distant Hooves

America’s

faded glory

the polo field

reminds

Of years

of fleeting greatness

and hopes that lived

in kind

A child walks

the ball field

where ponies

used to tread

With memories

buried deep below

their grandeur

— all but dead

Many Are Called …

Heaven

has no doorbell

Salvation

has no ring

The call redemptive

from inside

Where Angels

— flock to sing

Chrysalis

Able to take change

in smaller increments …

the total overwhelms

The pieces digested

in tiny fragments

absconding from the realm

— Breaking it down —

 taming the maelstrom

 hail turns into rain

The whole reemerging

inside my becoming

 transforming me again

No Mans Land

Living in the zoo

hunting in the jungle

Dying in the space between

— buried in the past

Tongue In Cheek

Preaching to the choir

one more like will do

Beating the last dying horse

postings stay as new

I’ll read yours if you’ll read mine

lined up in the queue

I’ll say yes if you agree

— who is kidding who
