processed foods

and smog

Two steps forward

ennobling every dirty fact

as children choke and cry

the Swede’s leave out

that’s missing

on their dais

for mass destruction

as progress masquerades

Lapsing

forgetfulness

a crutch

for the weak

To hobble

and stumble

 when chosen at will

Where Poets
